Clearance: Active DOE Q & SCI Access
Security Requirements: Personnel are required to possess an active Department of Energy Q security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access authorization in order to perform work under the contract.
Experience: Individual must possess at least five (5) years of experience and a mastery of editorial and publishing techniques, a working knowledge of typography, layout, and design theory and requirements to format publications, integrate text and graphics, and a comprehensive computer literacy in the use of Microsoft Office applications and other types of publishing associated software to process and produce a wide range of documents, including assessments, graphs, and charts, that enhance quality and content of reports and visual presentations.
Individual must have proven experience in writing and editing documents, excellent grammar, and strong skills in report writing. Knowledge of problem-solving processes and techniques; statistical analysis interpretation and idea generation techniques (e.g., brainstorming); and research techniques (e.g., data query, library/file search, on-line research) is desired.
Education: Position requires individual to have earned a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in such fields as English, journalism, history/ social sciences, communications, or media design.
